With help from my dad and grandad I have been restoring

a Land Rover Series IIA.

The full braking system has been renewed,

which has greatly improved the drivability of the car.

 

The next step is to go through all the wiring as shown in the

bottom left photo to f ind the problem. The Land Rover already

has an updated engine from a Discovery model so after the

speedometer cable is in, the car should be ready for the road.

 

This project is on going in the background but

the plan is to put a new clutch in as well as some sound proofing

in the engine bay and a canvas roof. We would like to update

the interior as well with a freshly painted dashboard and new

upholstery on the seats.
